1. Introduction
The 9th house is the best of the Trikone houses and called Bhagya Sthan or house of destiny/ luck. The destiny is nothing but the results of past Karmas, which includes some diseases as well. As per Kaal purush chart,
this house and Sagittarius sign represents hips, things, limbs and femoral arteries. The 9th house governs paralysis, sciatica pain, injury to hip & things and deformities of limbs. Femoral artery. The femoral artery is a
large artery in the thigh and the main arterial supply to the thigh and leg. It
enters the thigh from behind the inguinal ligament as the continuation of the external iliac artery. Here, it lies midway between the anterior superior iliac spine and the symphysis pubis.

2. Paralysis
2.1 Paralysis is the complete loss of muscle function for one or more muscles groups. Paralysis can cause loss of feeling or loss of mobility in the affected area. It happens when something goes wrong with the
way messages pass between your brain and muscles. Paralysis can be complete or partial, localized or general. It can occur on one or both sides of the body. Paralysis of the lower half of the body, including
both legs, is called paraplegia. Paralysis of the arms and legs is quadriplegia. There are many medical causes for paralysis and perhaps more yet to be discovered. Most paralysis are caused by nervous system damage and are constant in nature. The affected limb is deprived of its movements and sensation. Recovery of paralyzed muscle is generally slow. Proper physiotherapy, massage, besides
general nourishment and vitamins may help.
2.2 Astrologically paralysis is an airy (Vata) disorder and affliction of Sun, Moon, Mercury and lagna may cause paralysis. Mercury and Saturn are the prime Karaka for this disease. 9th house/ lord and
Sagittarius sign along with Trika houses/ lords rule this disease. The left side is ruled by the houses from 8 th to 12 th , while right side is ruled by 2 nd to 6th houses. Right leg and right side of face & tongue are ruled by 2 nd house and the left leg and left side of face by 12th house.

a) The moon in lagna opposing both Saturn and Mercury.
b) Moon sand Mercury in Capricorn and Pisces or in different Trika houses and afflicted.
c) Mars opposing Saturn in Kendras.

3. Loss of Limbs
3.1 Sagittarius sign and the 9 th house is the seat of limbs in natural zodiac, while Saturn is the Karaka for limbs. Their affliction by position, conjunction or aspect in an evil house/ planet is responsible for loss of limbs, Lagna, lagna lord, Sun and Mars (Karaka of development of the body limbs) are also important and their affliction may cause loss of a limb. 4. Sciatica

thigh, leg and foot. In addition to pain, which is sometimes severe, there may be numbness, muscular weakness, or tingling and difficulty in moving or controlling the leg. Typically, the symptoms are only felt on one side of the body. Pain can be severe in prolonged exposure to cold weather. Jupiter, the 9th lord of natural zodiac and Saturn, the karaka of diseases/ pains factors.
